Hardened Steel Taper Crimp for 40 S&W
The Lee taper crimp die is made of hardened steel and is designed to overcome crimp problems caused by poor die design. It offers little or no advantage with 1986 or newer Lee dies because their crimp angle is already a modified taper crimp. Jacketed bullets must have a crimp groove.
